Designated Giving

A designated gift is a gift given for a particular purpose. This congregation has long received designated gifts; a plan for funding has been created for many of its programs through designated gifts.

Each month, members will have three or four opportunities to make designated gifts. Individuals are not expected to respond to every opportunity, but the Finance Committee hopes members will find two or three projects or programs throughout the year toward which a gift will be made.

Make designated gifts payable to First United Methodist Church and then make a note on the check memo line or envelope indicating where the gift is to be used.
