Faithworks

Faithworks is an outreach ministry of the Missions Committee of First United Methodist Church. Persons needing small repairs, yard clean-up, or work that might be accomplished in a short time are welcome to contact the church office for a Faithworks application or used the form at the bottom of the page and email it to fumcindy@cableone.net. Projects should be able to be completed within 4 to 6 hours.

Wanted:Youth Jobs

The youth are currently looking for small jobs they can do for community service. If you have a job these young people can help you with, please contact the church office at 331-3840, or fumcindy@cableone.net. Those asking for assistance are expected to furnish or pay for materials.

First UMC volunteers will provide the labor and tools necessary to complete the work. Those who have a project they feel may qualify as a Faith Work project may call the church office at 331-3840 or e-mail the church at FUMCindy@cableone.net to receive an application. Applications will help the Missions Committee determine the work needed to be done, when work must be completed, and the number of persons needed to complete the work. Applications should be returned to the church office. When applications are received applicants will be contacted about their requests. Applicants must understand that completion of the project depends upon enough volunteer labor being available.

In order for Faith Work to be successful, volunteers are needed who would be willing to offer themselves for projects that may be completed in 4 to 6 hours on a Saturday or week night. Those who would like to offer their skills should complete the form below and return it to the church as soon as possible.
