The rising cost of food and gasoline impacts most persons of limited income.  It has been the custom of our congregation to set aside the third Sunday of each month to gather nonperishable canned goods and paper products for our local Food Basket Ministry.  Financial gifts help.  The Food Basket can purchase food less expensively than we can buy it.

 

In light of the current need, bring food, paper products, or make financial gifts any Sunday.  Place items in the shopping cart across from the elevator on the first floor.  Make checks to First United Methodist Church and note "Food Basket".
