Other LOGOS Information

Transportation:
Transportation is the responsibility of the parents but arrangements can be made with the LOGOS Staff for assistance. Please advise the LOGOS director if transportation is needed

School Activities:

We recognize that some youth and children are involved in school activities. All youth/children are encouraged to participate in LOGOS. It is important to the practice and theology of LOGOS that each youth and child be there every week for all four parts. When schedule conflicts occur please notify the LOGOS director so arrangements can be made for continuing participation in both LOGOS and the school activity.

Fees:
The fees for LOGOS will be $70.00 for each youth/child.  If for any reason this will create a hardship, please contact the Pastor, the LOGOS Director, or the Record Keeper. There are scholarships available. If scholarships are needed, please let the Director, Record keeper, or Pastor know as soon as possible. All financial concern will be help in strictest confidence.

Child Care:
Competent child care will be provided for children of LOGOS workers while they are participating at LOGOS. Child care will be provided in Room 102. The only cost will be for the meal, prepared by the LOGOS Kitchen Staff, if the child remains at LOGOS during that time. That cost is $2.00 per meal payable on a week to week basis.

Arrival and Departure:
The LOGOS traffic will be routed through the side doors (by the office). Youth, children, parents, and staff need to use these doors. Gault Hall will be in use at various times during the evening. Use of the designated door will eliminate interruptions of activities. Please use the "LOGOS Doors" for all LOGOS traffic -- not only does it help with traffic and safety, but another important feature of the "LOGOS Doors" is the bulletin board located on the wall just inside the door. The bulletin board will keep everyone informed of LOGOS happenings. For example, next week's theme, visitors, who is participating in worship, and other important notes.

Arrangements for Visitors:
Youth and children are encouraged and welcome to invite friends to LOGOS at any time!
We ask only that the following guidelines to observed:

  • All visitors need to be registered with the LOGOS director by Monday of the week the visitor will be attending.
  • A fee of $2.00 will be collected for dinner upon arrival to LOGOS on Wednesday. Visitors are expected to stay with the LOGOS member who brings them throughout the entire schedule for that particular evening.
  • The person bringing a visitor is responsible for the visitor's behavior at all times!
  • Visitors may attend LOGOS twice during the course of a semester (four times a year). Then, if they wish to be enrolled, arrangements will need to be made through the LOGOS director for registration, parental participation and expectations of membership.
